千葉はトランジションオフェンスで#3 パーカーや#2 富樫が得点を重ねるが、SR渋谷も#34 ケリーのインサイドを中心に加点し追い上げる。
SR渋谷#7 伊藤のファストブレイクで奪われたリードを#5 田口の4点プレーで取り返すなど、シーソーゲームが続く中、1点リードを勝ち取り第2Qへ。

第1Qに引き続き、立ち上がりから拮抗した展開が続く。
千葉はSR渋谷のターンオーバーから得点チャンスに繋げるものの、SR渋谷#6 サクレ、#34 ケリーがインサイドで強みを発揮しディフェンスリバウンドを抑えられてしまう。
同点で迎えたオフィシャルタイムアウト明け、千葉は#27 石井のスティールから#2 富樫が3Pを沈め2ポゼッション差をつけることに成功。
しかしSR渋谷#6 サクレ、#34 ケリーにインサイドで得点を許し、なかなか点差を広げることが出来ない。

SR渋谷#24 広瀬の3Pで後半開始早々同点に追いつかれてしまう。
SR渋谷の得点が相次ぎ一時はリードを奪われるものの、#1 ダンカン、#3 パーカーがリバウンドをおさえて#2 富樫の3Pなどに繋ぎ、少しずつ主導権を掴んでいく千葉。
しかしSR渋谷#1 清水が立て続けに3Pを沈めると、さらに#9 ベンドラメのAND1が成功し点差を詰められる。
4点差と接戦のまま、勝負の第4Qを迎える。
4Q
SR渋谷 76-87 千葉
立ち上がり#5 田口の3P、#1 ダンカンのバスケットカウントで流れを掴みにいく。
ディフェンスでもリバウンドに積極的に絡みSR渋谷の得点を抑えると、#15 藤永の3Pで2桁リードを奪うことに成功。
このまま勢いに乗りたいところだが、オフィシャルタイムアウト明け、SR渋谷#6 サクレ、#34 ケリーが立て続けに3Pを決め一気に点差を縮めてくる。
さらにSR渋谷#34 ケリーが3P含む連続得点を挙げ、残り1分19秒で3点差まで追い上げられてしまう千葉。
しかし#3 パーカーがスティールからダンクを決め流れを引き戻すと、#1 ダンカンが獲得したフリースローを着実に沈め点差を再び2桁に乗せる。
最後まで続くSR渋谷の猛追を我慢強いディフェンスで凌ぎ、辛勝した。

「今日のような守り方をされたら打っていかないとチームのリズムが崩れるので、敢えて3Pは積極的に打ちにいきました。藤永選手は常に練習から準備をしていて、チームも彼を信頼しています。週末は栃木さんとの試合ですがここまでの50試合で積み上げて来たものを出して挑みます。」

「富樫選手・西村選手は本当に質の高いPGなので、今は出られなくても勉強中という気持ちの方が強いですが、今日はいつでも出られる準備はしていました。ディフェンスでは2人に負けてはダメだと思っているので、自分が出たら守備の強度を上げられるようにこれからも頑張ります。」
