#43 コールビーのセカンドチャンスや#24 保岡のバスケットカウントで秋田も得点を重ねるが、ディフェンスで主導権を握り簡単には得点を許さない。
第3Q終盤に#5 田口が立て続けに3Pを決めるなど、リードを20点に広げるオフェンスを展開。
序盤に掴んだ流れを維持して最終Qを迎える。

最終Qに入り秋田#17 中山がファストブレイクや3Pでスコアを伸ばしてくるが、千葉も#5 田口の得点や#1 ダンカンの3Pで加点しリードは譲らない。
#8 下山の3Pなどで秋田が再びオフェンスのリズムを掴み始め、このQは再び相手が決めれば決め返すようなシーソーゲームに。

「出だしから互いにフィジカルに戦って前半接戦になりましたが、後半ディフェンスからの速い展開で自分達のペースに持ち込めたのが勝因かと思います。今週の土日もタフなスケジュールで試合が続きますが、それは相手も同じですので真っ向から全力でぶつかって行きたいと思います。」
