北海道#13 ドブラス、#15 トラソリーニの連続得点を挙げられるが、千葉も#21 エドワーズ、#2 富樫が返し拮抗した展開に。
しかし#3 パーカーを起点とした攻撃でリズムを掴むと、守備でもリバウンドをおさえ、残り4分18秒で北海道 8-16 千葉とリードを奪う。
その後も#3 パーカーの躍動が続き、ディフェンスからオフェンスへと良い流れを作って得点を量産。10点リードで第2Qへ。

開始早々#9 折茂の3Pが決まると、北海道のタイトなディフェンスを前に連続でターンオーバーを誘われてしまう千葉。さらに#9 折茂が連続で3Pを沈め、一気に4点差まで迫られる展開に。
お互いになかなか得点の決まらない時間帯が続くが、オフィシャルタイムアウト明け、千葉はディフェンスのプレッシャーを高め、#3 パーカー中心にスコアを重ねる。
2桁リードを維持し、試合は折り返しに。

#3 パーカーがセカンドチャンスで得点を挙げ、後半戦がスタート。
北海道は#32 松島がスティール、AND1と攻守にわたる貢献で追い上げを図るが、千葉は#2 富樫、#27 石井の3Pで差を詰めさせない。
途中お互いボールが手につかずミスの相次ぐ時間はあったが、試合の流れは手放さないまま最終Qへ突入。
4Q
北海道 63-93 千葉
ゾーンディフェンスを敷いてくる北海道に対し、序盤から#1 ダンカン、#3 パーカーが積極的にインサイドへアタックしファウルを誘う。
北海道も#11 桜井のドライブなどで追撃を狙ってくるが、#5 田口の3Pなどで着実に得点を積み重ね、20点リードでオフィシャルタイムアウトへ。
第4Q後半に入っても攻守で手を緩めずアグレッシブなプレーを続け、北海道の追い上げを阻む千葉。
#10 チェンバース、#21 エドワーズの3PなどでこのQだけで30得点を挙げ、3連勝を収めた。
