1Q
横浜 11-22 千葉
まずは#9モリスのフロースローで横浜に先制点を取られるが、これは#2 富樫が冷静にジャンパーで返す。だが早くもオフェンスの勢いを上げてきた横浜は続けざまに#7 ベクトンが加点し対抗。これに対して前節の課題を修正してきた千葉も、序盤からアグレッシブなオフェンスを展開。#22 サイズ、#21 エドワーズが連続加点し流れを掴みかけた千葉だったが、ここから更にギアを上げてきた横浜#32 モリスらに加点され相手に一歩リードを許してしまう。しかし、すぐさま#22 サイズがフリースローで加点し、千葉リードとすると、#1 ダンカンもゴール下からの得点で牽制。
ここで横浜のタイムアウトを挟むが、タイムアウト後からコートインした＃15藤永もエナジー全開で果敢にボールを奪いに行くなどのハッスルプレーからそのままレイアップに繋げるなどし、千葉リードで第1Q終了。
2Q
横浜 25-37 千葉
千葉リードで開始した第2Q。まずは#5 田口が3Pで先制点を挙げる。対する横浜も#9森川、#18 森井が立て続けに3Pで返してくるなどオフェンスに勢いを出してきたところですぐさま千葉はタイムアウトを請求。タイムアウトで横浜の流れを切った千葉は、その後も#14 佐藤が身体を張ってボールを取りに行くなどディフェンス強度を維持。追撃する横浜もアグレッシブなディフェンスから早い攻撃を展開し、#10 チェンバースに加点されたところでオフィシャルタイムアウトへ。
オフィシャルタイムアウト明けは横浜#10チェンバースの先制点から開始。ここでリードを一時2点差にまで詰められるが、すぐに#21 エドワーズ、#22 サイズ、#31 原がインサイドからの得点やフリースローで再び10点差に戻す。その後もディフェンスの強度を落とすことなく、横浜の猛追を凌いで前半終了。
3Q
横浜 43-58 千葉
まずは#21 エドワーズが#2 富樫との合わせから加点。そして#14 佐藤もインサイドから続き、リズムを維持。第3Qも粘り強く強度のあるディフェンスを展開する千葉相手に横浜#10 チェンバース、#7 ベクトンらが加点し追随。負けじと千葉も#2 富樫、#21 エドワーズがしっかりと点を返すなど一進一退の攻防に。そんな中、再び横浜#10チェンバース、#32 モリスが連続加点してきたところですかさず千葉のタイムアウトで流れを止める。
タイムアウト後、横浜#18森井にアンスポが宣告され、#22 サイズがフリースローをきっちり沈める。13点に差を広げた千葉だったがここから徐々に横浜のオフェンスが機能し始め#1 アウダら中心に連続加点を許してしまう。対する千葉もシュートを打っては行くもののゴールが遠い時間帯が続く。たまらずここでベンチに下がっていた#22 サイズを投入。直後、#22 サイズが3Pを沈め、しっかりと役割を果たすと#1 ダンカンもジャンパーで続くなど、千葉リードで最終Qへ。
4Q
横浜 57-79 千葉
まずは#15 藤永が一瞬の隙を突いたレイアップで先制点を挙げ、続けざま#11 西村がエナジー全開でルーズボールを奪い#22 サイズに託すと、その#22サイズが豪快なワンハンドダンクを叩き込み一気に流れを引き寄せる千葉。対する横浜も序盤に3Pを沈めてきた#9 森川が再び3Pで点を重ねてくるなどチームを牽引。だが、千葉も#1 ダンカンがゴール下で気を吐き加点し、20点差としたところで横浜のタイムアウトへ。
タイムアウトを使用した横浜は仕切り直してオフェンスに勢いを出してくる。横浜#18 森井に加点を許すもののこれはまた#1ダンカンがゴール下から加点し取られた分を返すなど、千葉優勢のままオフィシャルタイムアウトへ。オフィシャルタイムアウト後も横浜の猛追は続くが、最後までディフェンスの強度を下げずに戦った千葉は、危なげない試合運びでリードを維持し、今季初顔合わせとなる横浜とのアウェー戦で白星を掴んだ。
