先制点は#31原のレイアップ。すぐさま島根#14 金丸に3Pを決め返されるも#14 佐藤のフリースロー、#2 富樫のフローター、#21 エドワーズのバスケットカウントにより得点を重ねていく。対する島根も#14 金丸の3P、島根#8 トラビスのバスケットカウントで反撃し、点の取り合い守り合いとなる。その後千葉は#1ダンカンのシュートが立て続けに決まるが、開始5分で早くも島根#14 金丸に3本目の3Pを許し、続けて島根#8 トラビスにも3Pを決められ逆転される厳しい展開に。#2 富樫の3Pが決まるも、島根#28 ニカのレイアップ、島根#2 ビュフォードのダンクを沈められ千葉はたまらずタイムアウト。タイムアウト明け、#1 ダンカンのジャンプショット、#31 原のレイアップと得点を重ねるが島根#28 ニカにバスケットカウントを許すなど8点ビハインドを背負い第2Qへ。

開始早々島根#1 後藤にバスケットカウントを許すも#15 藤永の3P、#21 エドワーズのダンク、#34 スミスの得点により点差を縮めていく。その後、スティールから#11 西村のフリースロー、#1 ダンカン、#21 エドワーズのゴール下で逆転に成功。しかしすぐさま島根#2 ビュフォードの得点で追いつかれ一進一退の攻防を展開。島根の攻撃に対し激しいディフェンスで対応するが、逆にオフェンスでは攻撃のチャンスを得点に繋げることのできない時間が続く。島根#2 ビュフォードに3P、#8 トラビスのアリウープで再度逆転を許すと、オフェンスでは島根の激しいディフェンスに苦しみ厳しい展開に。#21 エドワーズのゴール下、アリウープで得点を重ねるも点差を縮めることができず前半を折り返す。

#34 スミスの3Pで先制点を沈めるも、すぐさま島根#3 安藤に3Pを決め返され開始早々点の取り合いとなる。しかし島根#2 ビュフォードのスティールからの得点により再度点差を広げられてしまう。#34 スミスのバスケットカウントが決まるもその後は島根の硬いディフェンスの前になかなか得点に繋げることができない。#21 エドワーズのフリースロー、#34 スミスのゴール下が決まるが島根#8 トラビスのゴール下、島根#4 ケイの3P、さらに島根#3 安藤の3P、フローターと連続得点を許し12点差まで一気に広げられてしまいここでOT。OT明け、#2 富樫のジャンプショットが決まるも、島根#8 トラビスの速攻からのダンクを決められて苦しい展開に。#2 富樫のアタックで得点を重ねるも100-94と6点差で敗れ、2021-22シーズンは悔しい黒星スタートとなった。

聞いていた通り本当にトランジションのチームで、走り負けてしまったなという試合でした。開幕からこういうチームと対戦して、自分達の課題というものを見つけられたと思いますし、しっかり修正して明日勝って帰れるように頑張りたいと思います。
