先制点は#31 原の3P。秋田も#9 デイビスがゴール下、#7 グリンが3P、#17 中山がジャンパーとテンポよく得点してくるが、対する千葉も#33 ムーニーがタフショット、#31 原がジャンパーを沈め、ギアを上げていく。その後も秋田#7 グリン#17 中山に3Pを沈められると、すぐさま#31 原がレイアップを決め返す一進一退の攻防を展開。
そこからはQ終盤まで互いにゴールが遠い時間帯が続いたが、千葉は#31 原のブロックショットを皮切りに、スティールから#34 スミスのレイアップ、3P、#21 エドワーズのジャンパーが決まるなど再度オフェンスのリズムを上げていく。要所で秋田にも得点を許すも、#15 藤永の3Pでリードを10点まで広げて第2Qへ。

立ち上がりから#34 スミスのバスケットカウント、#15 藤永のジャンパーが決まり、好スタートを切ったかのように思えたが、秋田に2本連続の3P、セカンドチャンスからの得点を許してしまったところで、千葉は開始早々にタイムアウトを要求。タイムアウト明け、#31 原のアシストから#33 ムーニーがダンクを沈めると、#11 西村の3P、#1 ダンカンのゴール下、#31 原のレイアップと続きリードを9点まで広げたところでOTへ。
OT明け、#11 西村の3P、#2 富樫のアシストから#33 ムーニーのダンクが決まるなどオフェンスのペースを取り戻す千葉。その後はリバウンドに苦しみながらも得点を重ねてリードを守り切り、前半を折り返す。

その後は秋田#5 田口にジャンパー、セカンドチャンスで#17 中山にレイアップを許してしまうも、ここまで沈黙していた#2 富樫が2本連続で3Pを沈めると、ドライブからのアシストで#1 ダンカンのブザービーターを演出。リードを広げて最終Qへ。

互いに果敢に攻めフリースローで得点を重ねていく。秋田#12 川嶋にセカンドチャンスで3Pを沈められてしまうなど苦しい展開となるが、ここで#6 赤穂が3Pを決め返しチームを鼓舞する。しかし再び秋田にディフェンスリバウンドから得点を与えてしまい千葉はタイムアウト。タイムアウト明け、#6 赤穂がタフなレイアップを決めきると、その後は#31 原のフリースロー、#33 ムーニーのバスケットカウントと得点を重ねてOTへ。
OT明け、ゴールが遠く、我慢の時間帯が続く千葉だが、#21 エドワーズのバスケットカウントが決まると、ハードなディフェンスで相手の24秒バイオレーションを誘うなど攻守ともに意地を見せ、21点差で5連勝目を飾った。

多くのオフェンスRBを取られてしまいましたし、コミュニケーションミスから沢山の3Pシュートを打たれてしまいました。秋田さんのシュート確率を抑えられたからといって自分達がいいゲームが出来ていたかというとそうではないので、次に向けてしっかり修正していきたいと思います。
