いつも千葉ジェッツふなばしに熱い応炎をいただき、誠にありがとうございます。
2025-26シーズンも、皆さまと共に最後まで戦い抜くことができました。

今シーズンは、レギュラーシーズン「42勝18敗」、東地区2位という成績で終え、りそなグループ B.LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP 2025-26ではベスト4、天皇杯ではベスト8でシーズンを終えました。シーズン開幕からはB1リーグ記録となる「開幕10連勝」を達成し、チームとして非常に勢いのあるスタートを切ることができました。

また、ホームゲームではクラブ史上最多となる年間入場者数302,798名、平均入場者数10,093名を達成し、毎試合、多くの皆さまにホームゲームへ足を運んでいただきました。

今シーズン、私が特に印象に残っているのは、初めてLaLa arena TOKYO-BAYでチャンピオンシップをホーム開催できたことです。
地鳴りのような大声炎に包まれたホームアリーナで、ブースターの皆さまと共にクォーターファイナルを戦い、勝ち上がることができた景色は、このクラブにとって大きな財産になったと感じています。

一方で、今シーズンもシーズン途中には相次ぐ怪我による選手の離脱があり、非常に難しく厳しい戦いを強いられるシーズンでもありました。
その中でもチームは新たな選手を迎え入れ、変化を強いられながらも、なんとかシーズンを走り抜いてくれました。
非常に困難な状況の中でも、最後まで優勝を目指し、一戦一戦を全力で戦い抜いたコーチ、選手、スタッフを、私は心から誇りに思っています。

そして何より、どんな時も変わらずチームを支えてくださったブースターの皆さま、パートナーの皆さま、地域の皆さま、本当にありがとうございました。
LaLa arena TOKYO-BAYで皆さまが作り出してくださった空間と声炎、そしてアウェイでも変わらず響く「GO JETS」の声。
その一つ一つが、選手たちの大きな後押しになりました。

また、フライトクルー、運営スタッフ、ボランティア、フロントスタッフをはじめ、クラブを支えてくれている全ての皆さまにも心から感謝しています。

これだけ多くの方に支えていただき、期待していただいた中で、タイトルを届けることができなかった悔しさは非常に大きく感じています。

これでクラブとしては2シーズン連続で無冠という結果となりました。
千葉ジェッツは、常に優勝を目指しているクラブです。
だからこそ、この結果を代表として真摯に受け止め、皆さまに最高の景色をお届けするためのより強い決意へとつなげてまいります。

そして、2026-27シーズンからは、「B.LEAGUE PREMIER」が始まります。
リーグのフォーマットも変わり、これまで以上に厳しく、激しい戦いになると思っています。
千葉ジェッツにとっても間違いなく試練のシーズンになります。

ですが、私はこの変化を、クラブがさらに大きく成長するチャンスだと考えています。
私たち千葉ジェッツは、この2シーズンの悔しさを無駄にはしません。

この大きな変化を受け入れ、必ずや強いチームを作り、2026-27シーズン、B.LEAGUE PREMIER初代王者を目指して戦います。
これからも千葉ジェッツらしく、挑戦を続けてまいります。
そして、千葉県 船橋市、LaLa arena TOKYO-BAYから、皆さまと共に新たな歴史を作ってまいります。

2025-26シーズンの千葉ジェッツは、5月16日(土)の「りそなグループ B.LEAGUE SEMIFINALS 2025-26」長崎ヴェルカ戦をもちまして、今シーズンの全日程を終了いたしました。

まずはじめに、今シーズンも千葉ジェッツと共に戦ってくださったブースターの皆さまをはじめ、パートナー企業の皆さま、地域の皆さま、そして千葉ジェッツを支えてくださるすべてのジェッツファミリーの皆さま、多大なるご支援、熱いご声炎をいただき、本当にありがとうございました。特に今シーズンは、年間ホーム入場者数30万人を超える多くのブースターの皆さまに支えていただきました。この場をお借りして、改めて心より感謝申し上げます。

結果としては昨シーズン同様、レギュラーシーズン42勝18敗（東地区2位）、天皇杯はクォーターファイナル敗退、チャンピオンシップではファイナル4で敗退という形でシーズンを終えることとなりました。

優勝を目指し、戦ってきた千葉ジェッツにとって、2年連続でタイトルを獲得できなかったことの責任は、GMである私自身にあります。優勝を求められるクラブとして、この結果が決して満足できるものではないこと、そして千葉ジェッツのGMとして相応しいものではないことは、私自身が誰よりも理解しております。だからこそ、皆さまからいただく期待や厳しいご意見も、真摯に受け止めております。

シーズンは開幕10連勝という最高のスタートを切ることができました。しかしながら、その後は昨シーズン以上に度重なる怪我に苦しみ、チームとしても非常に難しいシーズンとなりました。離脱を伴う怪我はいずれも試合中の不運な事故によるものであり、不可抗力な部分もありました。それでも、そうした事態の発生を読み切れず、最後までチームを優勝へ導けなかったことを含め、最終的な責任は私にあります。

特に12月以降は、ジョン・ムーニー選手の離脱、そして富樫勇樹選手が抱えていた膝のコンディションの影響もあり、チームとして再構築を余儀なくされる時間が続きました。 そんな苦しい状況の中でも、トレヴァー・グリーソンHCを中心に、選手・スタッフ全員が決して諦めることなく、日々対話を重ね、試行錯誤を続けながら最後まで戦い抜いてくれました。特にグリーソンHCは、どんな状況でもブレることなく、「今チームに必要なものは何か」を問い続け、チームを前に進め続けてくれました。

シーズンを通して何度も変化を強いられながらも、チャンピオンシップQFのホーム開催権を掴み取るところまでカムバックできたのは、皆さまからの変わらぬ熱いご声炎があったからこそです。苦しい試合、時には下を向き、情けない試合をしてしまった時もありました。それでもホーム・アウェー問わず、皆さまが届けてくださった大声炎は、間違いなく僕たちのチカラになり、何度も背中を押され、何度も立ち上がらせてくれました。

特にチャンピオンシップQFのホームで見た景色――
あの熱量、歓声、LaLa arena TOKYO-BAYの空間に込められていた皆さまの想いは、今思い返しても鳥肌が立つほど鮮明に心に残っています。「こんなにも熱く、僕たちを想ってくれる人たちがいる」と、心の底から感じていました。だからこそ、その想いに優勝という結果で応えられなかった悔しさ、申し訳なさも、今なお強く心に残っています。

そして何より、千葉ジェッツを長年支えながらチームの歴史を創り続け、どんな時もクラブの先頭に立って戦い続けてくれた西村文男選手の引退シーズンを、日本一という景色で終わらせることができなかったこと。これは今シーズンの中で私自身、最も悔しく感じていることのひとつです。西村選手は、苦しい時も勝てない時も、どんな状況であっても常にチームのために戦い、千葉ジェッツというクラブのカルチャーそのものを体現し続けてくれました。だからこそ、最後に皆さまと共に歓喜を分かち合い、最高の形で送り出したかった。その想いを実現できなかった責任も、重く受け止めています。

来シーズンからは、B.LEAGUEは「B.PREMIER」という新たな時代へ突入します。 誰も経験したことのない世界へ進んでいく中で、千葉ジェッツとしても、クラブとしての在り方、勝ち続ける組織としての基準を改めて見つめ直していかなければならないと感じています。

ただ、その中でも変わらないものがあります。
それは、「JETS SPEED」「JETS PRIDE」をコートで体現し続けること。
そして、応炎してくださる皆さまに誇りを持っていただけるクラブであり続けることです。
どんな時も、皆さまと共に日本一を目指し続ける、チームはその覚悟を持って、また前へ進んでいきます。

最後に、短い期間でありながらチームにすべてのエネルギーを注いでくれたケニー。引退から、千葉ジェッツの窮地を救うために現役復帰を決めてくれたジェフ。怪我に苦しみ、志半ばでの悲しい別れとなりましたが、最後まで千葉ジェッツのことを気にかけ続けてくれたマイク。

そして、コーチ陣、スタッフ、選手たち。
苦しく悩み続けた時間の連続でしたが、それでも最後まで諦めず、一緒に戦い続けてくれたことを心から誇りに思います。特に後半戦はなかなか結果に繋がらず、ぶつかり合いながらも、それぞれがぐっと堪え、「チームのために」「文男さんのために」と考え、戦い抜いた経験は、必ずこれからのチームのカルチャーとして生き続けると信じています。
誰がなんと言おうと僕たちはファミリーです。本当にありがとう。

また、最後までチームの優勝を信じ、共に戦ってくださった、STAR JETSの皆さん、ジャンボくん、RISUKEさん、アシスタントMC黒木さん・冨田さん、DJ KAnaMEさん、オッチー、運営スタッフ・ボランティアスタッフの皆さま、フロントスタッフの皆さん、そしてジェッツファミリーの皆さま、本当にありがとうございました。皆さまが創り出してくださった「ホーム」は、間違いなく日本一でした。

来シーズンこそは皆さまと笑ってシーズンを終えることができるよう、全力で取り組んで参ります。悔しさも、責任も、期待も、すべて背負った上で、「千葉ジェッツらしさ」を再定義し、もう一度日本一の景色を掴みにいきます。

Thank you very much for your continuous and passionate support for Chiba Jets Funabashi. Together with all of you, we have successfully fought through the 2025-26 season to the very end.

We concluded this regular season with a record of 42 wins and 18 losses, finishing 2nd in the Eastern Conference . In the Resona Group B.LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP 2025-26, we reached the Best 4, and finished in the Best 8 for the Emperor's Cup. From the opening of the season, we achieved an opening 10-game winning streak, setting a new B1 League record and gaining tremendous momentum as a team right from the start.
Furthermore, at our home games, we achieved a club-record total annual attendance of 302,798 fans, with an average attendance of 10,093 per game. We are deeply grateful to the many fans who came out to support us at our home arena for every single match.

What left the deepest impression on me this season was holding the Championship home games at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY for the first time. Fighting through the Quarterfinals and advancing further together with our boosters in our home arena—which was completely filled by thunderous cheers, chants, and passionate energy that shook the very ground—has become an invaluable asset for this club.

On the other hand, this season was also an incredibly difficult and grueling journey, as we were forced into tough battles due to player injuries midway through the season. Even under such circumstances, the team welcomed new players, adapted to the forced changes, and somehow managed to run through the season to the end. I am proud from the bottom of my heart of the coaches, players, and staff who never gave up, aimed for the championship until the very last moment, and gave their all in every single game despite these immense hardships.

Above all, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to our boosters, partners, and local communities who supported the team unconditionally through thick and thin. The incredible atmosphere and passionate energy you created at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY, along with the chants of "GO JETS" that echoed just as loudly at our away games—each and every one of those moments provided immense strength to our players.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Flight Crew, operations staff, volunteers, front office staff, and everyone else who supports this club behind the scenes.

Having received the backing and high expectations of so many people, the frustration of not being able to bring home a title is deeply painful.This marks the second consecutive season that the club has finished without a title. Chiba Jets is a club that always aims for the championship. Therefore, as the president of the club, I take this result very seriously. We will turn this disappointment into an even stronger determination to bring the ultimate victory and the best view to all of you in the future.

Starting from the 2026-27 season, the new "B.LEAGUE PREMIER" will begin. With the league format changing, I anticipate that the competition will be tougher and more intense than ever before. It will undoubtedly be a season of great trials for Chiba Jets.

However, I view this change as a tremendous opportunity for our club to grow even further. We, Chiba Jets, will not let the frustrations of these past two seasons go to waste. Embracing this major transformation, we will absolutely build a powerful team and fight through the 2026-27 season with the ultimate goal of becoming the inaugural B.LEAGUE PREMIER champions. We will continue to take on new challenges in true Chiba Jets fashion. Together with all of you, we will forge a new history from Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture, and LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY.Once again, thank you so much for your passionate support for Chiba Jets Funabashi throughout the 2025-26 season.

The Chiba Jets' 2025-26 season has come to an end following the "Resona Group B.LEAGUE SEMIFINALS 2025-26" match against Nagasaki Velca on Saturday, May 16th.
First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to our boosters who fought alongside us throughout the season, our partner companies, the local community, and every member of the "Jets Family" who supports this club. Thank you for your immense contributions and your "passionate flames" of support. This season, in particular, we were supported by an incredible milestone of over 300,000 total home game attendees. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Season Results and Accountability
Regarding our results, similar to last season, we finished the regular season with 42 wins and 18 losses (2nd in the East), were eliminated in the Quarterfinals of the Emperor's Cup, and concluded the Championship in the Final 4.
For the Chiba Jets—a club that fights for championships—the responsibility for failing to secure a title for two consecutive years lies solely with me as the General Manager. As a club expected to win, I understand more than anyone that these results are not satisfactory and do not meet the standards expected of a Chiba Jets GM. I take the expectations and the stern feedback we receive from you with the utmost sincerity.

A Season of Resilience and Adversity
We began the season with a perfect 10-0 start. However, we were subsequently plagued by even more injuries than last season, making it an incredibly difficult road for the team. While the major injuries were the result of unfortunate on-court accidents and factors beyond our control, the ultimate responsibility for failing to anticipate these contingencies and guide the team to a championship rests with me.

From December onwards, we faced a period of necessary restructuring due to the absence of John Mooney and the knee condition of Yuki Togashi. In those trying times, Head Coach Trevor Gleeson, the players, and the staff never gave up. They engaged in constant dialogue and trial-and-error to fight through until the end. Coach Gleeson, in particular, remained unwavering, constantly asking "what does the team need right now?" to keep us moving forward.

The Power of the Boosters and "The View from the Home Court"
The reason we were able to fight back and secure home-court advantage for the Championship Quarterfinals—despite constant forced changes—was because of your unwavering support. There were painful games and moments where we lost our way, yet whether at home or away, your roaring cheers were undoubtedly our strength, pushing us back onto our feet time and again.
Specifically, the view from the home court during the Championship Quarterfinals—the heat, the cheers, and the raw emotion packed into LaLa Arena—is something that still gives me goosebumps. I felt from the bottom of my soul that there are people who care for us this deeply. That is exactly why the regret and apology for not being able to answer that passion with a championship remains so strong in my heart.

Honoring a Legend: Fumio Nishimura's Retirement
Furthermore, I feel a profound sense of regret that we could not end the retirement season of Fumio Nishimura—a man who helped build the history of the Chiba Jets and stood at the front lines for so many years—with a championship trophy. Fumio embodied the culture of the Chiba Jets, fighting for the team regardless of the situation. I desperately wanted to share that final moment of joy with all of you and send him off in the best possible way. I carry the weight of failing to make that a reality.

Looking Toward the Future: The "B.PREMIER" Era
Starting next season, the B.LEAGUE enters a new era: "B.PREMIER." As we venture into this uncharted territory, I feel we must re-examine our identity as a club and our standards as a winning organization.
However, some things will never change:

• We will continue to embody "JETS SPEED" and "JETS PRIDE" on the court.
• We will remain a club that our supporters can be proud of.

The team is determined to keep moving forward, always aiming to be the best in Japan alongside all of you.

Final Acknowledgments
I want to thank Kenny, who poured all his energy into the team during his short stay; Jeff, who came out of retirement to save the Jets in a time of crisis; and Mike, who unfortunately had to depart mid-season due to injury but continued to care for the team until the end.
To the coaching staff, the players, and the support staff: it was a period of constant struggle, but I am truly proud of you for never giving up. The experience of the second half of the season—where you clashed, endured, and fought for "the team" and "for Fumio"—will surely live on as part of our culture. No matter what anyone says, we are family. Thank you.
Finally, to STAR JETS, Jumbo-kun, RISUKE-san, our assistant MCs Kuroki-san and Tomita-san, DJ KAnaME, Occhi, our operations and volunteer staff, front office, and the entire Jets Family: Thank you for everything. The "home" environment you created was, without a doubt, the best in Japan.
Next season, we will work with everything we have to ensure we end the year with smiles. Carrying this regret, this responsibility, and your expectations, we will redefine what it means to be the Chiba Jets and become the #1 team in Japan once again.
