【2014-2015シーズン開幕のご挨拶】
いよいよ千葉ジェッツ、4年目のシーズンが開幕致します。これもひとえに日頃から球団を支えて頂いておりますブースターの皆様、パートナーの皆様、メディアの皆様、地域の皆様をはじめ関係者のサポートのおかげです。心より御礼申し上げます。
さて、昨シーズンはトップリーグ参入1年目とはいえ満足のいく成績を残すことができませんでした。しかしながら、シーズン後半にはチームの成長も感じることが出来たと思います。この流れを更に進化させるために、西村文男選手、リック・リカート選手、ジャスティン・バレル選手、パリス・ホーン選手を補強し、レジー・ゲーリーＨＣの指揮のもと厳しい練習、鴨川合宿、台湾遠征と強化のみならずチームの一体感を大切にオフシーズンを過ごしてまいりました。
手ごたえは感じておりますが、NBLイースタンカンファレンスは強豪がひしめいております。しかし、今シーズンは結果に拘り、全力で戦ってまいります。第一の目標はプレーオフ進出。プレーオフに進出出来れば、その先は一つでも上を目指して戦います。
また、今シーズンはチーム理念「ブースターが誇れるチームになる」を策定致しました。具体的に「勝てるチームになります」「最後の最後まで諦めず全力で戦います」「チームを支えてくれている皆様に感謝の気持ちを忘れません」という３点を選手、スタッフが強く意識して実行してまいります。
54試合という長丁場のシーズン、どうかブースターの皆様をはじめ一人でも多くの方々に試合会場に足を運んでいただき、選手への熱い声援、激励をお送りいただければ幸いです。どうぞ引き続き2014-2015シーズンも千葉ジェッツをサポート下さいますようお願い申し上げます。

【2014-2015 Season Opening Greeting】
The Chiba Jets' 4th season is about to begin. This is all possible thanks to all the support that we receive on a daily basis from our boosters, partners, media, and all those involved beginning with our local community. For this we'd like to convey our heartfelt gratitude.
Last season although it was our first season playing in the top league, we still weren't satisfied with our overall record. However, we believe that we could feel the team growing and improving at the end of the season. In order to build on this momentum from last season, we made the acquisitions of Fumio Nishimura, Rick Rickert, Justin Burrell, and Paris Horne, and have gone through a rigorous and strict preseason under the direction of Head Coach Reggie Geary that included practices, training camp at Kamogawa, a trip to Taiwan. While doing so, careful attention was given to building a close knit unit as we went through the off-season.
We feel that we are able to do some good things, but the Eastern Conference of the NBL is full of strong teams. However, this season we'd like to strive for results and will compete with everything we have. Our first goal is to make the playoffs. If we make the playoffs, from there we try to finish as high as we possibly can.
In addition, we'd like to inform you that our team mantra this season is to "Become a team that our boosters can be proud of." More specifically, our players and staff will always be mindful of the following three points: "we will become a team that can win", "we will be a team that plays until the very end without ever giving up," and "we will never forget the sense of appreciation for everybody that supports us".
A 54 game season is a long season, and we would truly appreciate it everybody, beginning with our boosters, can come to our games to cheer and support our players. Please continue to support the Chiba Jets as we enter the 2014-2015 season.
